Canadian Coin News is Canada’s premier magazine and source of information about coins, notes, and medals.
Trajan Publishing Corporation approached us with a plan to not only redesign and build a mobile-friendly website for Canadian Coin News, but to also help them craft their online digital strategy for their magazine.
We also came up with a new business model for Trajan; online micro-transactions. Users can purchase credits to unlock “Trends” (up-to-date values for their coins, notes, and medals), as well as unlock past magazine issues. This new business model helps drive new online sales for Trajan, a first for their magazine.
Using the capabilities of the WordPress Multi-site feature, we were able to create a similar website for the Canadian Coin News sister magazine, Canadian Stamp News. Multi-site benefits include the ability to share users, standardize design elements, and install, manage, and update one instance of WordPress or plugins that will effect each of the different sites.
Both Canadian Coin News and Canadian Stamp News are powerful responsive WordPress websites, custom designed and developed exclusively for Trajan.
